An Italian company has taken it upon themselves to create and produce jeans for Muslims. Al Quds (Jerusalem in Arabic) are marketed as something you can wear everyday, as well as to worship. They are designed loose and with lots of pockets so one may be comfortable during their multiple prays throughout the day and to store everything one must remove to do prays (glasses, watches, & jewelry). The seams are done in green thread, the sacred colour of Islam.
I also found that many believe that the Swedish Company Cheap Monday produces anti-Christian jeans, their logo is a skull with an upside down cross in the middle of it's forehead.
May I also suggest:
Zouave jeans for Catholics; they will be extremely baggy at the top and taper from the knee down.
Israel jeans for Jews; modest, cheap & only in black.
E.G. White jeans for Adventists; granny style and any colour but blue.
I'm out of ideas, feel free to post yours. Does anyone else think this is ridiculous. THEY'RE JEANS! But then haven't jeans always been a point of contention no matter what your beliefs? Too tight, too baggy, too ripped, too blue, too faded, too Rock & Roll.
