Desperately trying to catch up...we've had a busy summer.My parents came to visit for a few days. We had fun going to Sterling Nature Center. Got "lost", well we missed our turn to get back to the parking lot and ended up WAY off course. Our nice leisurely afternoon walk turned into quite a hike. Lucky for us, we had some friends in the area that "rescued" us, so we only hiked approximately 5 miles instead of 7, as they drove us back the last two miles or so... just before the rain hit.

OK, I checked your blog in late July and maybe early August and thought I was "safe" from your threat of posting these pics... guess not. The dead fish were really bad on the beach. Glad I could be a source of amusement! Mom
