My computer has been having problems for 2-3 weeks now. Andrew revived it once, he walked me through resusitating it last week when he was out of town, then last night I tried to do it by myself. I don't know what I did different, but it erased EVERYTHING. When it first started having problems I backed up all my pictures, but I kept putting off backing up all my other stuff, mostly word files that really weren't life of death matters. Well with everything being erased, I was frustrated, but I had all my pictures, then I remembered...my genealogy wasn't backed up....I just wanted to cry. I have the cd to reinstall the program, and I can get some of it from my dad, but I had done a lot of work on different family lines, and had stories and info in the notes section, and it's all gone, I just want to puke.
I'm this close to throwing it out the window, it just popped up another warning that it's crashing again. I think I need a new computer...
