That's so funny--I have a vague, fuzzy, very early memory of hearing my dad and his buddies sing that song. Boy, were we Bears' fans! I have a picture of the last time they were in the Super Bowl (I believe). I have a Bears' onesie on, and am propped up next to a Bears' teddy bear. I was six months old. :)
I lied. I was 18 months old.
Thank you. You have answered my nagging question that I've had for the entire post-season. After living in England, I've become more aware of chanting & singing during soccer games. I'm glad to know that Chicagoans can carry a good tune in their stadium :)Thanks also for the words ... now I can sing along during the SUPER BOWL !! :D:D:D:DGO BEARS !
The shuffle is hillarious! I had never seen the whole thing. :) Yay Bears! Woooo!
I've actually gone hoarse every playoff game before the end of hte first quarter singing this song and cheering. BEARS!
